Welcome to our world. At DKNZ we have a true appreciation and passion for beautifully crafted products in the wonderful world of design. Our ethos is firmly rooted in bringing our customers a diverse range of high quality, unique, affordable, and stylish jewellery & women’s accessories. I am Penny Wilson, and the amazing opportunity came for Walt, my husband, and I to purchase the Dyrberg/ Kern business in New Zealand in 2018. This fulfilled a lifelong dream for both of us to own our own business. The fit is perfect, with iconic designers, quality product and that minimalist Scandinavian style. It is a real privilege for us to work with Gitte Dyrberg, Henning Kern and the other designers directly across our brands. We are proud to represent their brands and have met some incredible people from across the globe and in New Zealand, building strong relationships and long-life friends.

 Dyrberg/Kern was first established in New Zealand 20 years ago. After purchasing the business, I recognised that times and consumer habits are ever changing. Having worked in a multi branded environment my whole career, I felt it was important to make a more extensive offer to New Zealand women. People want choice, quality, style, and affordability. Through our network of fellow fashion jewellery distributors in Europe we have seen a steady rise in a new breed of exciting designers in the region. There is also a move towards a more universal approach to women’s accessories with leather products and silk accessories complementing our traditional plated stainless-steel jewellery offering.

OUR BRANDS

We have spent some time talking with some of the best designers and are incredibly excited about what we have to offer. We have evolved to offer a curated range across five brands. These brands offer a unique mix of price points, styles and materials. Together, they offer a more complete experience. We are supported by our incredible staff in the stores and office, Sandra in Merivale Mall has worked with the brand for 20 years, our retail partners across the country in our wholesale business and our gorgeous customers. All amazing people – we couldn’t be who we are without them.

We aim to provide a range of price options that are competitively priced for the New Zealand market.

HIGH QUALITY PRODUCT We seek products that are built to last and use quality materials. All product needs to be durable and have a proven track record of quality. The look and feel reflects this. Should a piece fail under warranty, we pride ourselves in speedy repair or replacement.

OUR STORES

We have two retail concept stores in Christchurch and Wellington and an extensive stockist network throughout New Zealand. We pride ourselves on a very knowledgeable and passionate retail team. We love our product.
