When we see a piece of jewellery sometimes we neglect to think about the journey that piece of jewellery has been on.
From just a mere idea in a brilliant artist's head, to being sketched out, to being reviewed, hand made, quality checked and sent out to Stockists all over the world to share their beautiful design, to being worn by a fan of the piece. And for us that is far away in New Zealand.
SARA DOMÈNECH
Created one of our beautiful new collections called Euphorbia.
Sara is a Sculptor with a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona. She studied Art at HKU University of the Arts Utrecht, in the Netherlands. Working with Joid'art creative team since 2001, she was given an Eclat de Mode Paris award for her Ingrid and Glit collections and a Bijorhca Paris jewellery and fashion award for her Lunea collection, all of which she designed for Joid'art. She was a finalist in the A-Fad Enjoia’t 2006 Awards.
The Euphorbia collection, designed by jeweler and sculptor Sara Domènech, is inspired by succulent plants in the form of cacti that receive the same name and results in synthetic and minimalist pieces of an elegant organic fall.
Two finishes: 925 matt silver and 24 k gold-plated matte metal.
